SprayMax-85 helps foliar spray solutions adhere to plant surfaces and not be washed away by environmental conditions. Spraymax-85 is used as an overhead foliar spray.
Spraymax-85 is a specialty penetrant that helps improve foliar spray performance. Many pesticides must be able to penetrate the plant’s bark to be effective. This is not easy for insecticides to do because most leaves have a hairy, waxy surface that acts as a barrier to the cuticle. Penetrants are spray adjuvants that cause the wax particles on the leaf surface to stand upright, which penetrates the leaf cuticle. This promotes rapid penetration of the insecticide, allowing it to act quickly. SprayMax-85 increases droplet size to reduce spray mist and ensure more pesticide is deposited on target. It is widely used along with many pesticides used on field crops and fruit crops. Increased droplet sizes place pesticides more efficiently on plants and reduce off-target drift due to wind.
